In my opinion, for this job you need to have a good understanding of psychology, be able to create a strategy, and use words to control the audience's attention. And also a copywriter is a person who evokes emotions and motivates different people to act.
What are copywriters valued for?
First of all, a creative approach to solving problems. Mastery of words and the desire to create the most accurate content - this is what distinguishes us from other specialists. In addition, the design of content, which is part of the work and part of the creative process.
The next aspect is the role in marketing. Texts are needed not only to inform or entertain the audience. A copywriter is distinguished by the ability to turn an idea into attractive words that will encourage the reader to take a target action. The text evokes various feelings, which contributes to the emotional attachment of the client to the company. If you touch the heart of the reader, there is a chance to remain in his memory, and this is already a powerful influence on the decisions and actions of the audience.
Thirdly, it is difficult to find a more versatile storm fighter than a copywriter! Adapt the same text for informing, launching an advertisement, posting on social networks; select visual references for design, suggest how best to respond to the client, proofread the voiceover text for a video, write a script for a video ... Well, don't we control the forces of nature)
Actually, the fourth aspect is the readiness for constant self-development and self-improvement. I have a clear plan and a well-formed vision of the stages of further training and development. For what? To keep moving forward, improve my skills and reach new levels of working with clients.
So, in times of information storms, the skill of a copywriter, the ability to attract attention, inspire and influence a decision is an indispensable component of an effective communication strategy for a company.
